Parliament. A very active group we made several initiatives to bond with Labour
and local politics.

With Fellow PS Branches leaders in a meeting with Portuguese PM in
Paris 2009. In the French Capital 50.000 of us vote to our Parliamentary
elections, in London were just a thousand voting unfortunately. We have the
unique political fact that the Emigrants elect 4 MP’s for our Parliament (2
from Europe and 2 from the rest of the World).

os dois Deputados do Circulo da Europa, enquanto em Londres somos 1000 a votar
infelizmente.
With our MP Paulo Pisto, elected by the European Emigrant
diaspora, a unique representation power in EU Political landscape. The French
just replicated our system to their diaspora elect MP too. Paulo have come to
London several times to help the cause and increase political activity in the
Community. He made a very successful street campaign with Steve Reed for the
Lambeth local elections.

conte muito por tal). O Paulo veio em varias ocasiões visitar a nossa
comunidade local no intuito de incitar a participação e voto em eleições. Fez
uma notável campanha nas últimas eleições locais apoiando o Leader de Lambeth

With Eurico Rocha, Member of PS UK Branch, on a visit
to PS national congress in Espinho. We always were keen to establish the
linkage with the local community settled in Lambeth for a since the last
century, aiming to create a cohesion between activists of all origins.
